Victor tells his father, ““A thousand times would I have shed my own blood, drop by drop, to have saved their lives. . .”” (184) Do you think that Victor would have truly sacrificed his life for his friends and family? Why or why not?
I think that Victor would actually sacrifice him self for his friends and family, because it was his fault. He was the creator of this Creature, who caused all the trouble. He neglected hes creature which drove him to cause the harm he did. Victors now sees that it is hes fault. He is full of guilt. This monster is taking the most important people from him, so he feels that since he was the creator or this harmful creature, he should be the one to be punished not his friends or family, just him.
I think Victor would sacrifice his life for his family and friends cause he loves them , but in a way i don't think he would i mean his creature already killed two important people in his life and he didn't do a single thing about it except driving his creature away , which led the creature into killing his little brother and the girl . Victor should really see what's going on and try to solve except filling himself with guilt and not doing a darn thing about it . He created this monster so it's his responsibility to take care of him and stopping him from harming his family and friends .
No I think he wouldnt have ! How many of victors loved ones have been killed with victor putting a stop to it none! He's selfish ! Hes the one who brought this creature to life and takes no actions to this creatures mistakes ! Victor is at fault for this harm happening! I think he should sacrifice his life for the love ones not he would do it !
@ Leah and deeann how do you guys say you think he would I know it's your own opinion but I don't get it ! He has watched his family members die and he has yet done nothing ! Leah I think you mean it as more as he should be killed for his wrong doings ! And deeann I like your second choice better because you gave reasoning to why he would not !
Deeann, I agree with you. you pretty much said what i said, just in a nicer way. And to Jaeana, Its okay if you think im mean, thats just your OPINION, just like i put my Opinion about Victor on the blog. Its just an Opinion.
I think that Victor wouldve sacraficed his life for there's . But in my point of view at the time i dont think he knew how to . I dont think he knew how to put a stop to all of it . Only because i myself think that he had to much Guilt brought upon him already . Because of the 2 tragic deaths of his family members.
Jaeana : I dont thnk he's selfish . I mean i myself cant fully answer this question because i mean what if we we'r in his shoes. Like i would say i would have stopped the creature. But i guess by knowing the fact that he put so much time & effort into that creature. Like how can you just end something that took such a great and long part in your life.
In my opinion NO Victor would not sacrifice himself for anyone of his family members not even his wife. Victor is a very selfish man and he should rot in jail. Honestly i hate him. He's not even doing anything to warn his family or even save them.
