After I read Chapter 10 , i feel that the creature is a better man because he kinda has a good reason to be upset at mankind cause they think he is so hideous and they want to kill him . The other thing is cause he's upset that he's own creator or master as the creature says hates him and accuses him of something he's not sure of cause he " thought " he saw him in the woods and for neglecting him or telling him to go away , i mean he's just like us . He has feelings too (:
I honestly feel that the monster or at least what we've all been calling a monster; isnt really a monster. He is actually a better person then Victor is. We have been underestimating this creature, judging it cause of how it looks and what he has done. This creature had a reason for causing harm... because thats all it's seen from the start. The first thing that Victor showed when the creature came to life, was fear and neglect. Now that the creature witnessed Love from a family he saw, thats all he wants, but Victor never even gave him a chance.
Deeann, I guess were on the same page because Victor never even gave him a chance. He neglected him from the start. He's judging his creation just by its looks. of course its going to be ugly, i mean hello, he's made of DEAD body parts, but thats not what hes all about. He's a person too; with feelings. Poor neglected creature...
my opinion : the creature is the better man! i think this way because he gave his explaination on why hes being like this ! while he was neglected he still kept up with this ! he explained how he felt while victor ran away from his problems. thats not being the better person ! looks dont describe how a person is on the inside ! just like not judging a book by its cover ! but also being the better person is not by killing someone ! so i think all in all there the same ! equal !
@ leah i dont think he had a right reason of killing someone ! he could have been the better person and told victor how he felt ! human to human ! even though victor was scared of his own creation! (:
It's obvious the creature is the better person. I think this because Victor is just truely a coward. He doesn't take responsibility for his actions and he doesn't even say anything about what he's created. Victor made Justine look like a murderer and she died with people thinking she is one by not saying anything. The creature is still like a little baby he doesn't really know anything. Victor should have been there for him. He created him he should be able to deal with him. If the creature wouldn't have been misstreated he wouldn't have killed or done any wrongs. It's Victors fault, Ugh i don't like him.
