Describe Victor’s experience with lightning. How was it a turning point in his life?
chapter 2 was a really interesting chapter, he talks of his childhood and of Elizabeth (mentioned in chapter 1). he tells how there differences brought them closer and how she was a calm person where as he was not so. He talks about Henry Clerval, son of a merchant of geneva (where he resided) and how henry loved to fantisize abut heroics like the knights of the round table. later, victor gets more fascinatd in books and studies, and he devotes himself to science in a way... he thinks of himself as a desiple of these great scientist that he studies...

ReplyDelete"Homework: Chapter 2"
ReplyDeleteWell Victor Frankenstein talks about how he and Elizabeth had gotten much more closer. He talks about his only friend named Henry Clerval who is the son of a merchant in Geneva. He is very absorbed in his books and is just facinated and curious how everything works. He is interested in the appearance of things andinvestigating their causes. Later in the chapter he loses interest in natural science because he saw lightning strike a tree and had shredded it into little ribbons. He then wants to know where it comes from, how it's made and how it destroyed the tree.
VICENTE&MARGIE: I liked your blogs, Though mines a little different. You guys did good!
ReplyDeleteIn chapter 2 it explains the differences in Victor Frankensteins social life compared to others of his age. Only one in particular who is Henry Clerval who in my opinion isnt quite the same as Victor but they become friends. In my point of view Henry Clerval is more af an adventurous guy and Victor keeps more to himself and his books. As the chapter goes on it explaing how Victor Frankenstein experiences something like a turning point in his life. Which is when he see's lighntning strike a tree and it turns into ribbons. That even had made Victor Frankenstein even more curious in alot of thing such as : What power/ Energy could of caused that . How something like that couldve been destroyed and many other things.
